Heidelberger Kultur- und Kongressgesellschaft mbH (HKK) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the City of Heidelberg. The company is responsible for operating the Heidelberg Congress Center (HCC) and the Konzerthaus Stadthalle Heidelberg (KSH).
As part of the reopening of our traditional, completely renovated Konzerthaus Stadthalle, we are looking for several
Event Staff (m/f/d)
on a mini-job basis, to start immediately and on a permanent contract.
Your Responsibilities
- Support at the entrance/reception and at the cloakroom
- Set-up, assembly and dismantling, and seating of event rooms and halls according to specifications
- Work in the back office and warehouse
- Transport of work materials
- Support for the Facility Management department as needed
What you will bring
- Initial experience in the event industry or alternatively from hotels/restaurants would be advantageous but is not mandatory.
- Service-oriented work is always a priority for you.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays (as needed).
- Team spirit, reliability, and independent work.
- Communicative and organizational skills.
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor.

Senior Event Manager / Project Manager (m/f/d)

Heidelberger Kultur- und Kongressgesellschaft mbH (HKK) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the City of Heidelberg. The company is responsible for the operation of the Heidelberg Congress Center (HCC) and the Stadthalle Heidelberg concert hall (KSH).
For our traditional, completely renovated Stadthalle concert hall, we are looking for a full-time, permanent position starting on September 1, 2026, for a
(Senior) Event Manager/Project Manager (f/m/d)
As an all-round talent, you will complement our small team in event organization and contribute your heart and passion to our unique venue.
Your tasks
- Responsibility for the planning, coordination, and execution of cultural and public events
- Main point of contact for our clients and for the involved service providers, trades, and the project team
- Support for tender procedures for events
- Creation of customized offers for event organizers, considering budget specifications and technical possibilities
- Detailed monitoring of cost planning and creation of event-related invoices
- Ensuring the quality of events
- Adherence to safety standards and legal requirements for events
You bring with you
- Completed commercial vocational training or a bachelor's degree in event management, event management or comparable experience in the event sector (career changer) with several years of relevant professional experience
- Confident demeanor and negotiation skills with customers and service partners
- Good understanding of CAD plans required
- Very good English skills
- High customer orientation, strong communication skills, economic thinking and acting, as well as an independent, structured and systematic way of working
- Team spirit, sense of responsibility, time flexibility combined with the willingness to work evenings and weekends
- Sound PC skills in MS Office and openness to digital tools, knowledge of the event software "RUBIN" is an advantage
